Human-centricity and explainability are now mandatory. Regulators are signaling that “the AI told me” is not a valid defense. In 2026, saying that is the professional equivalent of “The dog ate my homework.” Regulators aren’t buying it. You must be able to trace exactly which source data led to an AI-generated medical insight.
